Karl Kemmerer has been with the department since 2016. His responsibilities include developing and managing continuing education content, which is designed to allow health care professionals to advance their understanding of assistive technology.
Kemmerer also manages the International Seating Symposium (ISS), the world’s largest educational conference in wheelchairs and mobility-related assistive technology.
Kemmerer’s areas of expertise include a combination of subject-matter knowledge in assistive technology and instructional design. He is passionate about projects that promote both physical and digital accessibility through effective education.
