Students apply through the Graduate Centralized Application System (GradCAS).
The application fee is $50 (U.S.).
Prerequisite Coursework:
Applications may be submitted while prerequisite coursework is in progress. A minimum grade of C in all prerequisite courses is required.
Applicants are required to provide transcripts from all U.S. universities, colleges or other higher education institutions attended.
Admitted students will need to submit official transcripts to the SHRS Admissions Office prior to enrolling in classes.

List of your top four choices for internship placement and why you selected these placements.
Two letters of reference, preferably from individuals who have instructed you in academic settings and/or supervised research activities. These letters should address the applicant’s academic, professional and personal attributes and potential for meaningful graduate study.
An interview with program faculty, strength and conditioning staff and/or sport science staff may be required to determine if the applicant/student will be a best fit for the internship placements.
Resume or CV must be submitted through the GradCAS application.

Students who have completed the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree or higher at an institution outside of the United States are required to provide an academic credential evaluation from Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. or World Education Services (WES), Inc. with their application.
The University of Pittsburgh accepts the official results of the Duolingo English Test, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) as a measure of English language proficiency.
