Amy Hartman has clinical experience in pediatrics and has developed a research program focused on supporting sleep health for neurodivergent children and their families. Hartman’s research is particularly focused on the development and practical implementation of home-based interventions within each unique family system and community engaged research. She also has a passion for teaching the next generation of occupational therapists and seeks to work together with students to empower change through evidenced-based practice. Hartman values cross-disciplinary collaborations and works with psychologists, psychiatrists, engineers and other rehabilitation scientists. Her work is supported through the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation and the Sensory Integration Education Network, and her postdoc by the NIH (a T32 postdoc through NHLBI).
