Biography

Prior to retirement, Debora L. Miller served as vice dean for SHRS for seven years and as vice chair of the Department of Physical Therapy for 13 years.  As vice dean, Miller led key initiatives including strategic planning, online learning, teaching and academic excellence and facilities master planning.  

Miller has 20 years of experience in rehabilitation and health care leadership across the continuum of care, leadership, management and health care ethics and compliance. She has 20+ years of teaching experience in the Undergraduate Program in Rehabilitation Science and most extensively in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program in content areas related to health policy, compliance and regulations, business ethics and risk management, leadership development, practice management and current issues in health care.
