Biography

Kelley Fitzgerald is Emeritus Faculty of the Department of Physical Therapy. Over the course of his 25 years as a faculty member in the department, Fitzgerald has made meritorious contributions to the teaching, research and service missions of the department, school and university. He has also served as Associate Professor and Professor in the University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Research Institute, founder and inaugural Director of the University of Pittsburgh Physical Therapy Clinical and Translational Research Center (PT-CTRC) and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies in the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. 

He has received numerous research grants including federal funding from the National Institutes of Health and the Agency for Health Research and Quality and has published numerous research and other articles related to physical therapy management of knee disorders.
