Lilcelia “CeCe” A. Williams is a postdoctoral trainee in the Department of Occupational Therapy, supported by the Integrated Clinical Research and Geroscience T32 Program. Williams is also serving as an Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center Optimizing Scientific Careers in AD Research (OSCAR) scholar in the Outreach, Recruitment and Engagement Core. Williams’ research is driven by her passion for eradicating the health care disparities and inequities experienced by historically minoritized populations, as well as striving to improve patient outcomes. She is clinically trained as a radiation therapy technical specialist, with 25 years of health care experience as a provider, manager and patient advocate. She has advanced training in educational leadership and management and has taught courses in Ethics and Diversity in Leadership, Instructional Design, Leading Co-located and Virtual Teams, Essential Skills for Technical Leaders, Technical Leadership Capstone and Patient Education & Counseling for undergraduate and graduate programs in applied science in technical leadership, business, science and physician assistant studies.
