Biography

Minmei Shih works in the Cognitive Performance Laboratory. Shih has expertise in functional outcomes measurement and neurological rehabilitation intervention for people with central nervous system diseases and injuries. Shih collaborates in research grant writing, data analyses and project management, as well as training and supervising clinical practitioners engaged in research activities. Shih completed her postdoctoral training in the Department of Occupational Therapy and the UPMC Stroke Institute and worked as a full time neurological occupational therapist for 10 years in inpatient, outpatient and home care settings.  

As a research scientist, Shih has extensive experience designing, leading and implementing quality improvement and research projects in real world practice settings. Shih continues to collaborate with researchers to expand research skills in complex intervention theory design and evaluation, research intervention delivery in acute, post-acute and community settings and hybrid intervention-implementation research methods.
