Stuart Prunty’s Emergency Medical Services career began in the early 90’s as a volunteer in Ireland. He advanced to a career position before eventually moving to the US in 2000 for further education. Following several years of clinical practice and teaching, Prunty was seconded to the Irish Ambulance Service and played an integral role in the development and delivery of Ireland’s first prehospital advanced life support service. Prunty continues to work locally in the Pittsburgh metro area as a paramedic.
