Alyssa Mathews has been a PA for 11 years with her first seven being in a local pediatrics practice. At the School of Medicine, she worked on various research projects regarding mobility, neurocognition, lipid disorders and aging. Her experience includes performing clinical procedures on study participants, protocol revisions, creation of standard operating procedures and other research-related tasks, as well as serving as a guest lecturer in in the Physician Assistant Studies (PAS) programs. Mathews’ primary assignment is supporting our PAS on-campus and hybrid programs while continuing to support the research efforts of the School of Medicine.
