Biography

Juliana Vazquez is a former professional athlete with an innate connection to health and wellbeing which she has combined with her natural curiosity and love of learning. Vazquez developed a deep appreciation for data and its ability to empower minds and inspire decisions that invoke change. When transitioning from the sports world to a career in health care, her academic background led her to several health care organizations where she developed custom analytical solutions, serving cross-functional departments. Most recently, Vazquez was asked to join Cohere Health, a health-tech start-up that is spearheading change and reducing the friction to care paths through prior authorization automation. In this role, Vazquez supports product configuration, machine learning development, customer implementation, predictive analytics and solution development.  

Vazquez is honored to give back to the program that helped her advance so quickly in her professional career. She strives to provide students with relevant analytical tools, techniques and resources so they can transition from class to career seamlessly.
