Audiology and Hearing Club

The Audiology and Hearing Club works to promote hearing awareness, the effects of noise-induced hearing loss and vestibular disorders both on campus and within the community. This includes volunteer opportunities, fundraising, and events focused on all things audiology related.

Any undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh who is interested in hearing loss and balance disorders is invited to join.

This group is open to all undergraduate students at the University of Pittsburgh interested in hearing loss and balance disorders. This can include but is not limited to: Communication Science and Disorder Students, all School of Health and Rehabilitation Science Students (SHRS) Students and Pitt students with hearing loss.

Mission

Our mission is to provide those with an interest in hearing loss and balance disorders the opportunity to be a part of an organization whose main focus is related to their academic field of interest. The Audiology and Hearing Club will work to promote both hearing awareness and the effects of hearing loss and balance disorders on and off campus.

Who can join?

Whether you are already enrolled in the Communication Science program, or you’re just curious about hearing loss and balance disorders in general, any undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh is welcome to join.
