Gregory Meloy

Greg Meloy is a native of Altoona, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in 2007 with a Bachelors of Philosophy in Rehabilitation Sciences with a Concentration in Athletic Training. He then attended Drexel University College of Medicine, obtaining his medical doctorate in 2011. He proceeded with orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Pittsburgh, under the direction of Dr. Freddie Fu. He served as administrative chief resident during his final year and then completed an additional 1 year foot and ankle followship under Dr. Stephen Conti and MaCalus Hogan.

He currently resides in his hometown of Altoona, where he works for UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics. He serves as the Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at UPMC Altoona, and the Chair of Surgery at UPMC Bedford. He is married to his wife Kim and has three children: Jack (7), Ava (5), and Gia (2).
